DOG WALKING SERVICES
A typical Visit is about 35 minutes and includes:
Supervised walk and/or play
Pick up and disposal of dog poop
Some light brushing/cleaning after the walk, if desired/permitted
Fill bowls with fresh water (and replenish food, if requested)
Other Services may include:
Taking in mail & newspapers
Security check of the premises
Taking garbage/recycle bins out and/or back in
Turning on/off lights, opening & closing blinds
Watering houseplants (indoor and/or outdoors as directed)
Replenishing feeders for outside birds, etc.
Visit reports/updates via phone or email
Other minor tasks and errands, as requested
Specially-arranged Services (by request only) may include:
Pick up pet food and/or supplies
Deliver pet to / from vet, daycare and/or grooming
Administering medication/pills to cooperative/willing Pet
Help in pet training and behavior modification
Overnight pet sitting (sleep-overs)
Driver Services, e.g. to nearby airports

A typical Visit is about 20 minutes and includes:
Attention/petting and play time
Some light brushing, if desired/permitted

Clean litter box(es) and tidy-up minor accidents
Other Services may include:
Taking in mail & newspapers
Security check of the premises
Taking garbage/recycle bins out and/or back in
Turning on/off lights, opening & closing blinds

Replenishing feeders for outside birds, etc.

HOME CHECK SERVICES
A typical home check Visit may include:
A walkthrough of the interior and exterior of the home
Check plumbing outlets, lights, doors, windows, furnace, etc.
Water a few indoor houseplants (if requested)
Fill J-traps with water, if requested
Check mailbox and bring in mail
Take garbage/recycle bins out and/or back in
Notify homeowner of situations requiring attention
Other Services may include:
Help to close-down/open-up home before/after extended leave
Picking up and forwarding / handling mail when requested
Remove minor debris (e.g. branches) after storms
Contacting service providers and scheduling service
Being onsite when service providers are working
Water outdoor plants (if requested)
Driver Services, e.g. to nearby airports
Other minor tasks and errands, as requested
House Check Rates:
$22 for each Visit
$18 per half hour for Other Services when requested

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you have the facility to board our dog and/or cat ?
Sorry, we do not operate a kennel / cattery to host your Pets.
We usually visit your home to take care of your Pets, e.g. take your Dog out for walks.
Only on special cases will we consider hosting a Pet at our home for a short period.
Typically, they are cats and (very) small dogs that are friendly with our kitties.
Will you Pet Sit for us if we are not in Birch Bay or Semiahmoo (Blaine, WA) ?
Usually, our clients are within 5 miles, or less than a 10 minute drive away from us.
If you are outside of this area, and prefer not to pay for additional travel times
we may be able to refer you to other Pet Sitters in your area.
On occasions, our current clients have asked us to tend to their pet(s)
at their winter homes (in CA/AZ) as "one-time" jobs.
I'm looking to consider you as a Pet Sitter for my Pet(s). How do I start ?
First, we'd like to know more about your needs and expectations.
We want to know your location, when you need our Services,
what Pet(s) you have, and the services needed.
Then, we'd schedule a "Meet & Greet" to visit your Pet(s) at your home.
This is your opportunity to determine if we are suitable, and
for us to determine if we will be able to fulfill your Pet Sitting needs.
If all goes well for both parties, we will sign a "Service Agreement" with you
and we will prepare a Pet Sitting Checklist (and notes), to make sure we
have all the information necessary to meet your Pet Sitting needs.

Can you stay overnight with our Pet(s) as well ? and what is the charge ?
Yes, we can do sleep-overs. They are usually booked and charged as 2 Visits per night.
Sleep-Over Visit fees may be reduced for our regular clients who book
as least three (other) Visits a day for more than 5 consecutive days.
How do I make a reservation for your Pet Sitting services ?
1. Contact us to check our availability when you need our services.
Specify the date(s) and time(s) that you would like us to visit your Pet(s).
2. We will advise whether we are available on the dates and times for the Visits.
3. Contact us to book the Visits, e.g. after you have confirmed your travel plans.
4. We will confirm your bookings (if the times requested are still available on our calendar).
Can you also take care of non-Pet matters at the same time ?
Yes, let us know your needs in advance, while you are arranging the reservations.
We can usually take care of small tasks like picking up the mail/deliveries and newspaper, checking and watering indoor plants, filling up bird feeders, etc. Fees may apply.
We can also provide certain concierge services, like Driver Services to nearby airports,
picking up pet food/supplies, etc. Such services are charged on a time and distance basis.
Can you tell me more about your Driver Services ?
Driver Services are provided primarily so you won't have
to park your car at the airport when you leave town.
When you are leaving, we ride (in your car) to the airport with you.
Then, we drive your car back to your home and park it in your garage.
When you return, we drive your car to pick you up at the airport.
And, we ride (in your car) back to your home with you.
Driver Services are provided subject to our availability. They must be
booked in advanced. Driver Services are usually provided during daylight
hours to nearby airports like Bellingham, Abbotsford, Vancouver and
Seattle. The rates are doubled for service between 9 pm and 7 am.
You provide us with your car registration and insurance, and a signed letter of
consent for us to drive your car to/from an airport, and across the border if applicable.
Everyone in the vehicle going across the US/Canada border must have NEXUS.
Can you use your car to bring us to the airport, or pick us up at the airport ?
Yes, under certain circumstances (as we are not really a taxi/Uber service), and
only if your luggages, etc., can fit in our (small) car. We may waive the mileage charges
if we are taking care of your pet(s) while you are away for more than 5 days.
How far in advance can I make a booking ?
We prefer to take bookings for any of our Services at least a week or more in
advance. You should make your bookings as early as you can, for best availability.
We have clients who would even book months in advance, as per their trip schedule.
Can you take "last minute" requests for Pet Sitting services ?
Sometimes, but it will depend on our availability.
Since we schedule our personal times around confirmed bookings, we will try
our best, but we are usually NOT good at accommodating "last minute" requests.
Can I change or cancel my confirmed bookings later ?
Yes. We will try to accommodate your request for minor changes to the
time(s) of Visit(s) and/or any additional Visits, subject to our availability.
Why do you still charge for canceling any booked Visits ?
When we confirm a booking with you, we are committing to you that
we will take care of your Pet(s) on those booked dates and times.
When your booking is confirmed, you are committing to pay for ALL the booked Visits
and our assurance that we will not cancel your confirmed bookings unilaterally.
When do we pay you for your services ?
You can leave your payment (e.g. a check) for us to pick up on
our first Visit. Or, we will leave you a note at the end of the job,
and arrange to stop by your place to pick up your payment.
